History of the Club
In September of 1993 the White Eagles Soccer Club was founded in the offices of the Serbian Orthodox Church of Saint John the Baptist in Paterson, New Jersey. The soccer club was established by people who had a passion for sports and who were once soccer players themselves. The main purpose of founding the soccer club was to give the Serbian youth an opportunity to uphold their ethnic language, culture, and religion through the sport of soccer. Our youth is our future, and the White Eagles Soccer Club offers them a sense of belonging, stability, and friendship with one another.
The White Eagles Soccer Club is the sports section of the Serbian Orthodox Church of Saint John the Baptist in Paterson, New Jersey. The club plays its home games on church owned land in Hope, New Jersey. The land has three functional soccer fields along with complementary facilities needed for players and fans.
In a short period of time, the White Eagles Soccer Club gained entrance to the top semi-professional league in the New York and New Jersey area. Currently it competes in this league - Champions League. In addition, the club participates in many tournaments organized by Serbs in North America including the biggest called the "Srbijada" where the White Eagles were champions in the open division in 1999 in Chicago, in 2001 as the host team, in 2002 in Windsor, in 2003 in Cleveland, in 2006 in Florida, and in 2009 again in Cleveland.

The continued success of the club is mainly attributed to the support of companies, individuals, and friends of the club who are willing to help both financially and morally.
We implore all of our fans and supporters to assist us in any way possible in order for our club and our youth to have a prosperous future.
